If you’ve visited our squadron over the past year, you’ll almost certainly have heard about the adventures of Cadet Corporal Ted, our beloved squadron mascot who has spent 2025 travelling far and wide with our cadets. From local training activities to special events, and even travelling overseas once, it can certainly be said that Ted has truly been on tour.
We are now incredibly proud to announce that all of these moments have come together in a brand-new fundraising product:

Why We Created The Calendar
As a charitable youth organisation, much of what our cadets enjoy throughout the year from training resources, digital equipment, adventure training, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award support, and so much more must be funded by the Squadron itself via the Civilian Committee. While the MOD provides essential infrastructure such as the building, utilities, and core insurances, everything that helps enrich the cadet experience relies on charitable income. We are a registered ‘Excepted Charity’ with #W1865/96.
This calendar is a fresh and untested fundraising idea, but one that truly showcases the spirit of our squadron. Every photograph featured has been taken by the cadet who was accompanying Cpl Ted at the time, making this a project created by cadets, for cadets. It highlights their creativity, their pride in the squadron, and the fun that Ted had travelling with them throughout the year.
What Does The Calendar Look Like
It is a ‘Double A4' 2026 Calendar, so merging the perfect blend between showcasing what Cadet Cpl Ted has been up to, whilst giving you plenty of room to organise your daily and monthly itinerary. The calendar will be printed on a 250gsm silk stock throughout which gives the calendar the feel of a premium product, and is wirebound and hole punched for ease of hanging.

Who The Raised Funds Will Support
All proceeds from the sale (minus the cost of them being supplied) of this calendar will go directly into our 2353 Squadron non-public funds account, which are used solely to benefit our youth members. These funds help us provide:
Up-to-date training and media equipment
Subsidies for activities that reduce cost barriers for families
Support for adventure training and fieldcraft
Resources for squadron events, competitions, and awards
Enhancements to the overall cadet experience throughout 2026
Every purchase directly helps us continue delivering the high-quality, enriching opportunities that our cadets deserve.
How To Order Your Copy
We have produced an initial run of 50 calendars, available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we can order more if there is amazing interest but these extra one’s would not be available until the middle of January 2026. We will notify when we have sold out, with a blog article update and how you can still grab your copy/copies by us seeking an additional run from the supplier.
